Raphael Tristao, Head of Strategic Accounts, HG Insights

Raphael Tristao is a Dynamic SaaS sales leader who helps clients grow with Tech Intelligence and is also a founding member of the Data Science Foundation.

Raph, based in London this Brazilian native has 7 years of extensive experience in selling and managing relationships with the worlds largest and most disruptive B2B technology vendors/ service providers. Starting as an entry level junior sales exec at GlobalData in technology practice, he is responsible for helping catapult the company to become one of the fastest growing in the business, and within 2 years drove 139% net revenue retention managing the largest enterprise accounts for GlobalData, managing a multi-million dollar book of business including the likes of IBM, Fujitsu, Ericsson and Atos.

After taking some time to support a family business as a non-exec director, Raphael was brought in as the first employee of new SaaS start-up Pivotal iQ which grew from over $1million in sales in the first full year to over $4 million in its second year before being acquired by California based tech intelligence leader, HG Data. The combined entity, HG Insights, is sustaining a growth rate of over 40% and aims to attain unicorn status within the next few years where Raphael heads up strategic accounts.
