Dr. Neil Checker has worked in the Energy and Chemicals industry for close to forty years. He started his career in R&D with BP and then moved into technology and business consulting working with specialist firms such as Chem Systems in London and New York through to major consulting firms such as IBM Global Services and latterly as a partner in Germany’s leading strategy consulting firm, Roland Berger.
He has worked internationally on strategic issues for the world’s leading petrochemical including BP, BASF, Dow Chemical, Exxon and Shell, as well on M&A for leading private equity firms such as Apollo, Blackstone, Carlyle and CVC amongst others.
Neil is currently serving as Senior Advisor to Arthur D Little (ADL) the world’s oldest management consulting firm founded in 1886.
Neil has a BSc in Materials Science and a D.Phil in Polymer Physics from the University of Sussex.
